Twenty-six years after the Moriarty Incident fused Earth with the perilous and beautiful world of Miad'Ava, humanity now survives in a fragile equilibrium. Untold ancient magics go unbound, prehistoric leviathans roam alongside creatures of myth, and cybernetic enhancements are no longer a dream of the future. When an unprecedented mutant raid breaches the border out of the Red Zone through a subterranean tunnel network, the safety of the Coalition is put to the test. Dispatched to eradicate the threat, Colonel Jedon Halak leads his elite squad of Rangers into the hostile, untamed wilderness. Mounted atop lethal deinonychus and equipped with the newest advances in high tech gear, the unit expects a standard tactical operation. But Miad'Ava has other plans for them. Their mission across the fractured territories plunges them into an escalating nightmare of biological horrors and ancient dangers. As the journey takes them deeper into the world, the true threat isn't the monstrosities waiting in the dark. To endure the trek and hold the line, Jedon and his Rangers must rely on trust, before the deep trauma and lingering ghosts from their pasts unravel the unit from within.
