Animo

Twenty-two years ago, Rhaenis’s Genocide devastated the Kingdom of Rhodan. The extinction of the powerful Drayar family had left a vacuum of power in the land, giving rise to various rebel groups, who now felt confident that there was no authority left that could thwart their ambitions. The Animo, however, did not feel the same way. It had been sixteen years since the war between the Animo and the revolutionaries, which also meant that it had been sixteen years since Scar had been brought into this world. A world in which people used energy in order to transform into animals and manifest special powers called abilities. The town that Scar lived in was inhabited by people who used the weapons energy granted to them for the sake of the safety of the people under their protection, and for those who were willing to pay the right price. These people were called Animo. In their mission to protect, the one who obstructed that ideal they held was the leader of the Revolutionary Army, Ryogi. They had failed to put an end to him and his organization during the war. But the next time they fought, they would put an end to this endless struggle. He would make sure of that.
