Before Eleanor became the wife of Renold Wildeous, the man who would conquer her province and be the death of both her father and her brother, she was a daughter, a sister, and a woman with dreams and aspirations of her own. Before the Springtime War that would see her world rewritten with the blood of hundreds, she fought in her own way, in her own battles, against time, against family, and her own vulnerability.
This side story explores events of the main novel Barony from Eleanor Wildefen's point of view before the bloody unification of the Wildeous Barony.
