The Shape of Becoming

Noah has spent most of his life being told he is wasting his potential. A student at one of the most prestigious schools in the world, he is intelligent enough to keep up and physically gifted enough to stand out. He simply has very little interest in doing either. Then people begin collapsing. Some rise again with empty white eyes. Impossible abilities emerge, the rules governing humanity begin to change, and survival becomes inseparable from adaptation. For most, the new world is a desperate race to grow stronger. For Noah, something about that change feels different. And for the first time in his life, he may have found something worth figuring out.
