Jonas Arden is just an ordinary clerk working at the Imperial Archive, living a quiet life surrounded by old records and forgotten history. That changes when he discovers a mysterious fifth box where there should only be four. Inside, he finds a folder containing strange photographs, cryptic messages, and a death certificate bearing his own name, dated 303 years ago. As Jonas begins searching for answers, he discovers that some records are more than simple mistakes. They are signs of something wrong with history itself. And there are people whose job is to fix it. They are called the Keepers. But the deeper Jonas goes, the more he realizes that the fifth box may be connected to something far larger than himself and that the history he trusted may not be as simple as it seems.
