In a world where every person's trauma can be summoned as a living, killable monster called a Wound, the strongest fighters alive are the ones who ran out of things to lose a long time ago. Four unredeemable monsters-in-human-skin — an executioner, a war criminal, a serial killer, and a god who got bored of being worshipped — get dragged into a tournament that isn't testing their strength. It's testing how much of themselves they have left to burn. Nobody wins by healing. You win by having nothing left for the fight to take.
