Kael is seventeen, and his life is completely ordinary. School. Friends. Family. The same routine every day. Until the world he knows begins to change. What starts as strange dreams and things that may have been nothing more than his imagination soon becomes something far more terrifying. An earthquake tears through the city, leaving destruction in its wake and forcing Kael to confront a reality he was never prepared for. But the earthquake is only the beginning. As Kael searches for answers and struggles to protect the people he loves, he will discover that the world is far larger—and far stranger—than he ever imagined. Somewhere beyond the world he knows lies a truth that was never meant to be forgotten. And when the boundary between two worlds begins to break, Kael will find himself standing at the center of something far beyond his understanding. This is the beginning of a journey that will change everything.
