Modern Monster

A meteorite struck Europe, bestowing humanity with a remarkable gift: Super Senses, a genetic trait that magnified human senses a thousandfold. However, this gift came at a price. Monsters, believed to be genetic mutations of animals from the same origin, emerged and wreaked havoc on society, causing more than fifteen million deaths each year. Humans were forced to live in dirty, overcrowded cities, trying to build enclaves against creatures that threatened to devour them. In 2088, amid this chaos, a sixteen-year-old boy named Sen, who was not blessed with these enhancements like others, must confront the never-ending danger to pursue his convictions: Find his dead father.
