SSS-Tier Gacha Awakener

At sixteen, Jin Kang enters the Awakening Tower and walks out as an Unawakened, one of the rare few the Tower finds nothing in at all. That night, alone and humiliated, he activates the one thing his dead parents left him: a necklace they told him to hide from everyone, including the Association. It grants him a skill unlike anything on record: "[Unique] Gacha Box, Tier F", a once-a-day ability to open a box of unknown contents, and one that, by definition, belongs to no one else alive. What Jin doesn't know is that his parents were elite Awakeners who died suppressing a resurgent threat from the Abyss on a mission the Association still won't acknowledge, and that the necklace was no accident, but a contingency they built for exactly this outcome. As Jin claws his way up from F-tier through trials with real stakes for failure, the Association notices a Unique skill on an "Unawakened" boy's file. Their quiet monitoring won't stay quiet: the Abyss never fully receded, and something is already being prepared for its return.
