The Converging Realms: Legacy of the Fallen

The first book in a massive 23 book series, Converging Realms is set in the Ten Worlds, which are basically different realms (not planets). Legacy of the Fallen catalogs the journey of a young boy known as Kallus, as he embarks on a quest to defeat the Emperor, a dark elf known as Magnus, who killed his father, the legendary hero Astrum.  There are two main magic systems - 1. the Void, which is bursts of energy that vary in effects depending on Void colour. Hard to explain further without spoilers. 2. the Shards, ten elemental crystals each with control over a different World and element. The Shards are wielded by Magnus. The book has many diverse characters, each with their own backstories, sometimes powers, and personalities. WARNING: Book is short because it is still in Draft 1. Later drafts will improve it.
