In the neon megacity of Neurolithica, private investigator Tantei Yukimura makes a living recovering lost memories and following the trails people leave behind. When a routine job uncovers evidence that six months of his own life may have been replaced, Tantei is pulled into a conspiracy involving stolen memories, dead identities, corporate clans, and machine-ancestors that may know more about him than he does. The deeper he investigates, the harder one question becomes to answer: How much of Tantei Yukimura is actually Tantei Yukimura?
