There's only one thing sysadmin Isaac Level can do when technology starts killing everyone: grab his daughter and run. Smart devices from cars to HVAC systems turn deadly, making modern life a minefield of potential threats. Isaac tries to keep his five-year old daughter alive after the worlds worst patch notes are implemented. Choices wait for Isaac. Choices that will haunt him. But, if it means Jesse's survival, he'll learn to live with the world burning.
