This is the continuing tale of Isha Blackheart. Exile takes place before Book 1, during the times directly after Isha escapes from the mountains and the wrath of the spirit possessing her father. Like the first novel, Isha Blackheart is not a feel good story. She lives in a land of woe where life and freedom are worth less than the sand on an arena floor.
