Seraphina Venet has spent fifteen years being trained into a weapon — one of the Seven Deadly Sins, bred to become Lust. Now, down to the final trial before she earns a seat on the Council, she must retrieve a hidden mirror from the Forest of Dreams, a place where nothing human survives. She's not alone. Kael Alric — her counterpart from Wrath, and the boy who once threw her off a mountain to bury a secret they still haven't spoken about — is right beside her, and neither of them can quite let the past go. As the forest twists their memories and feeds on what they refuse to feel, old wounds tear open, rivals close in, and a devastating truth threatens to unravel everything the Sins and Virtues believe about who they are. Seraphina has to decide how much of herself she's willing to sacrifice to win — and whether winning and surviving are even the same thing.
