Dustborn

Kaizen wakes up in freefall with no memory. Stomach churning, he's birthed into a world of panic the moment his functions kick in. He explodes out onto a foreign world of bone-white dust, saddled with the responsibility of leading a pack of newborns, a duty handed to him by an unknown orb called the Oracle. A S.E.E.D., a synthetic human created to adapt, he finds himself different from the other seedlings as he traverses this unfamiliar world. Emotions he doesn't understand. An ability to ignore orders unlike the others. Knowledge he has never earned. This is a story of self-discovery in a world unseen before. Massive foreign creatures. An intelligent species with a mysterious past. What is Kaizen's real purpose on a planet that seems to be at the end of its days? Why was he sent here? Who sent him?
