Zoey is a famous gaming streamer with a talent for turning minor problems into public disasters.
So when a paid skincare collaboration gives her the chance to work with Layla, a striking Instagram model she's followed from afar, and whose quiet online presence has made her something of a mystery. Zoey is determined to keep things professional.
That lasts about five minutes.
Layla's quiet, deadpan calm couldn't be further from Zoey's chaotic energy, yet somehow the collaboration works. One stream leads to another. Zoey keeps finding reasons to come back, and the distant figure she'd only ever known through a screen gradually becomes someone real and increasingly difficult to ignore.
Then Zoey convinces Layla to start streaming.
As Zoey's audience discovers a completely different side of the seemingly untouchable model, harmless moments become viral clips, private lives begin bleeding into public ones, and the strange residents of Layla's run-down neighborhood start taking notice too.
What began as a sponsored collaboration slowly becomes something genuine between two people who couldn't be more different.
But the more Zoey brings Layla's world online, the more she begins to realize that some parts of her life were never meant to be streamed.
