by Just a Random Swede
When faced with the cruel weight of the world, what would you do? When escaping doesn’t sound triumphant-it instead sounds like punishment. Can you truly defeat what you fear most without coming to terms with yourself? Sacrifices is a story about survival, fear, identity, and the price people are willing to pay for a better tomorrow. Because when there is no other way… who gets to decide what must be sacrificed? ... Style note: Sacrifices is written with a deliberately visual, camera like perspective, with scenes staged as though they are unfolding directly in front of the reader.
