In a world where 16 divine rings can change the fate of humanity, a stateless child is destined to become the key to it all. Yūto Aizawa is born in a small village in Japan, the son of a stateless family. In a world where every nation is a constitutional monarchy and elemental magic is weak and tightly controlled, Yūto seems condemned to a life of hardship. But Yūto is no ordinary child. From birth, he displays superhuman intelligence, a perception of magic unlike anything ever seen before, and a mysterious black bracelet — the Yin half of an ancient artifact — left to him by a father he has never known. When the 16 rings are finally reunited, the world will tremble. And Yūto will have to choose... between power and truth.
