Walls of salvation

For centuries, humanity has survived behind five colossal Walls after mysterious Demon Gates unleashed countless demons upon the world. Each Wall has developed its own kingdoms, cultures, armies, and methods of fighting the supernatural threat. But the Walls hide secrets of their own. Jamie Andrews, a young soldier from the Blizzard Wall, belongs to a once-powerful family that has fallen from its former position. After a devastating betrayal leaves Jamie blamed for something he didn't do, his family is exiled from their home and sent to the distant Mizrah Wall in Africa. There, Jamie must survive a completely different world of warfare, powerful soldiers, ancient magic, and increasingly dangerous Demon Gates. As he adapts, he begins to discover that his family's downfall may be connected to secrets much older than the Walls themselves. Meanwhile, Linda Panora, a young woman from the mysterious Panora family, carries a dangerous connection to the Demon Gates—and abilities that could change the balance between humanity, Heaven, and Hell.
