Gravebound (Death Knight LitRPG)

The world calls undeath evil. Most of the time, it is right: practitioners of dark magic raise corpses as weapons, and villagers hide behind rotten walls. All the while, monsters drag people into the darkness of a horrific night.  Luke, a data analyst reborn in a corpse, aspires to be a new kind of undead. An undead with a revolutionary plan: to save the living instead of slaughtering them. If the dead can fight, dig, haul, build, guard, and bleed in place of the living, then maybe fewer people suffer because no one important cares enough to help them.  But to do that, he must gain mastery over his new powers. More than that, if he wants to really make a difference, he’ll need to figure out how to overcome the stigma of being a walking corpse. Perfect for fans of The Death Mage Who Doesn’t Want a Fourth Time, Azarinth Healer, and Awaken Online, featuring a unique undead Class, with an MC who has a drive to get stronger, deities who utilize mortal champions, and kingdom-building. What to expect: A main character who is Undead, and has powers inspired by World of Warcraft’s Death Knights. LitRPG crunchy goodness (but not to an extreme - most ‘level screens’ are at the end of the chapter). An MC who travels to various locales, and leaves behind permanent infrastructure under his control. Yes, kingdom builder is on the menu. Book 1 is fully written!
