Tutorial: How to become a Demon King (ROASK)

No one cried at his funeral. That should tell you everything you need to know about the man they buried. Reborn into a dead world with a homunculus body, bald and bored, Kaide only has two things going for him. First, he has a talent for telling people exactly what they want to hear. And, second, that he has no conscience whatsoever when it comes to using such information. Above a poisoned and desolate landscape floats five islands, the last remnants of civilization. On them live the monarchs of long-lived races and an entire Beastfolk race bred into slavery by a mad King. Into this environment of hate and exploitation, Kaide arrives with a single goal in mind. To climb the hierarchy by any means necessary, becoming as infamous as the forgotten Demon King himself so that no one can oppose him. It has nothing to do with noble intentions or saving anyone. It has precious little to do with the Beastfolk that take him in, feed him, and accept him as one of their own despite his suspect origins.
