Daniel Mercer lived an ordinary life. After his father’s death, a single winter night brings that life to an unexpected end. He awakens in another world as Thomas, a newborn boy in a land of kingdoms, magic, and ancient secrets. For the first years of his new life, he remembers nothing of the man he once was. Then, at three years old, a nightmare brings the past back. Thomas now carries memories of a life that should have ended, while growing up in a world that knows nothing of where he came from. As he grows, so does the distance between the life he remembers and the person he is becoming. But this world has its own history, and buried within it are kingdoms erased from maps, magic older than living memory, and secrets that were hidden for a reason. Thomas was given a second life. What he does with it will decide who he becomes. AI was used only for editing my horrible prose, grammar, and the cover. Sorry I’m too broke for real art. One day though.
