On Earth, Jack wasn't a hero, a savior, or a saint—he was an unhinged killer with a twisted rulebook, and he doesn't take kindly to being chained. When a high-ranking party of famous adventurers raids the cathedral, the panic-stricken cultists finalize the forbidden blood ritual. What rises from the altar isn't a submissive paladin, but a black-armored nightmare. Before the raid can even begin, Jack claims the cathedral for himself, painting the blood-soaked sanctuary with the remains of his summoners while letting out an echoing, manic laugh. Bound into a suit of jagged plate armor with serrated claw-gauntlets, rapid regeneration, and a dark resurrection curse that makes him faster, stronger, and more unpredictable every time he is slain, Jack enters a realm dripping with corruption. He isn't interested in saving the world, fulfilling prophecies, or playing politics. He only lives for one thing: to seek out society's worst monsters, corrupt nobles, and hypocritical tyrants, and inflict unfathomable violence upon them. They wanted a weapon of divine light.
