Kang Ijun repairs the weapons his friends carry into dungeons. Then he stays behind. At twenty-three, he has failed to awaken nine times. He has studied powers he cannot use, places he cannot enter, and creatures he hopes to meet from a sensible distance. This year, he would settle for a body that could keep up with his mind. His tenth attempt lights the sky above Seoul. His assessment is F. Link can carry a tiny flow of mana between two things he touches. Ijun is already thinking about what happens when the right things touch. There are skills to learn, dungeons to conquer and stronger people with plans of their own. He intends to survive them, grow, and keep the people he loves safe. Coming home may eventually raise harder questions than leaving did. A progression fantasy with an inventive strategist, dungeon exploration, humor, friendship and developing romance.
