Dying after a pathetic slip on a convenience store slushie was bad enough. Being reincarnated into a magical world, only to be abandoned in a tree as baby bait for a wolf pack, was outright insulting. Enter a stranger who effortlessly massacres the wolves. But this is no noble hero: he is the world's last Archmage, thoroughly bored with life and currently plotting his own glorious death against an ancient dragon. He picks up the newborn with one simple plan: sell the kid in town for a final, decent meal before ending it all. Neither the infant with a useless System nor the suicidal Archmage expected their reluctant partnership to change everything. This is the story of how a baby looking for a second chance and an overpowered wizard looking for an exit accidentally became each other's greatest problem and only hope.
