Jorn lost everything, his whole world gone. Before having time to grieve he was picked up by a traveling Band of Mages whose only goal is to put down the evil in the world. They operate outside of governments, serving justice as they see fit without the hinderance of bureaucracy. With his new companions Jorn sinks into a world of magic and spears, potions and artifacts. Along the way he discovers he is no ordinary mage. He discovers that women outside of his small village can be quite beautiful. And he realizes that the world is far more grey than he once thought.
