The war against the Artifact Holder ended fifteen years ago. A last revenge was activated as a magical virus spread across the soldiers and nobles alike, killing or infecting all.
The Kingdom of Nurberg prepared to fall until a minor Goddess of Light Aliza rose to power within the capital city and provided divine protection.
All attempts to cross the ravaged lands to the final ruined stronghold of the Artifact Holder have failed.
Outside forces hunger for the land, population and resources of the weakened kingdom. To find the one who can pass through the final layers of protection to reach the artifact and destroy it.
The search for the Betrayerborne begins.
