Who can escape death? The fool or the wise?
In a world where everyone fears their final hour, a man from modern Earth is thrust into a dark reality rife with church feuds, heretical cults, political intrigue, and the mystery surrounding the figure known as the "Receivers".
Initially, Liam Tirarty sought only to find meaning in his illusory new life. However, a rash decision to thwart a fanatic's blood ritual plunged him into a massive historical conspiracy, turning him into the most wanted fugitive of all.
On the run and fighting for survival, Liam was forced to embrace his new destiny. He awakened the "Prisoner", a bound ability born, ironically, from the loss of his own freedom.
This power transformed him from a helpless captive into a formidable wanderer, walking the razor's edge between life and death in a supernatural world.
