In 2142, Sorgaregn is a rain-soaked coastal city where centuries-old stone and advanced technology exist side by side. Ingrid Beaumont's job is to keep the city's systems running. When they begin behaving in ways that defy explanation, she assumes at first that it's just a technical malfunction.
