It's 1996, and working retail is bad enough. But Echo Point Mall isn't just another temple to consumerism — beneath the shiny new storefronts and fluorescent lights, something's been waiting since long before the mall was built. Evan and Hoot are the slacker-generation odd couple just trying to survive dead-end jobs, old friendships, and new relationships. Quips fly faster than customers can complain, at least until the mall starts biting back — literally. It's going to be one wild ride toward the Fourth of July, because while everyone else is waiting for the fireworks... The real fireworks are going down inside Echo Point Mall.
