After getting expelled for a brutal street fight in Manila, fifteen-year-old Ace is given a final ultimatum by his desperate mother: move to South Korea to live with his older brother, Joseph, or be shipped off to a military academy. Unable to speak Korean and burdened by a resentment rooted in his father’s abandonment, Ace reluctantly boards a plane for Incheon. Upon arriving, Ace quickly realizes his new life is far from peaceful. Left to navigate the unfamiliar city, he tracks Joseph down at Songdo High—only to discover that the prestigious-sounding school is a lawless breeding ground for bullies and delinquents where his soft-spoken brother is a constant target. When a formidable school fighter picks a fight with Ace on his very first day, Ace's survival instincts kick in, resulting in a swift, violent beatdown that turns the entire courtyard upside down. Forced to face his brother’s anger and the dark reality of his new environment, Ace finds himself trapped in a dangerous new territory. Instead of escaping his violent past, Ace must now survive a hostile foreign high school while confronting the broken family ties he tried so hard to leave behind.
