Sixteen centuries ago, a hundred guards were built to protect a house. One remains. The estate has stood untouched ever since, kept safe by its reputation and by the stories of what still moves inside it. The Sarranian Collegium know better. The stories are stories, and the ruin is the greatest site of the Construct Age never to have been excavated, its wonders there for anyone willing to dig. They find one construct intact.
