Ever been headed on the vacation of your dreams, then woken up to a nightmare? Marvel isn't as much fun when you're stuck in it, and you know what's coming, worse, if you change things, does that change what's coming? Make it worse? Make it better?  What do you do when you don't exist in the system. It's one thing to watch the Hulk smash through a building on TV, what if you're in that very building? If actions taken are what you need to grow stronger, what happens if you change too much of the story? What if you change enough that other heroes don't come forward? Who will save everyone then? If knowledge is power, who covets that power, and that knowledge, and what lengths will they go to take it? One thing to learn from every story, all the worst monsters are human, or start that way. MC Starts strong and climbs from there...       This is a very broken D&D character (3.5) dropped into a Marvel world, the character also draws from Dragonstar, Star Wars D20, and Besm D20. Gun and weapon stats are pulled from D20 Modern. The character has several classes each with its own skill, feat, and stat progression feeding into the base, a separate race for each class, of whose stats have been added or subtracted to the whole, some races may cancel out the benefits of other races. The races were chosen by random roll, as were the classes, and the character faces a penalty for all rolls equal to level adjustments until each are paid off with exp at the appropriate level. The combats are rolled, dice rolls on actual stats, encounter charts etc, I will not be expressing the numbers here, simply describing the outcomes, the character has alot of options but limited actions to use them in. The character's magic will be more available than a regular D&D character, yet still require a random time to reset. If you're familiar with recharge magic from Unearthed Arcana, basically 1d6+1 for highest level of spell, then faster for each level lower than that. Psionic Power Points, (PP) in the story, recover at the rate of whatever the highest level of Psionic class per hour in story, so at 5th level over the course of an hour the character will recover 5 PP. None of the character paths are gestalt, nor does the character get extra actions, there will be alot of character acts, enemy acts sorts of things, although I'll try to blend them together.
