They called her a weapon….  But she just wanted to see the sky.  After an illegal experiment fails and causes a catastrophe, fourteen-year-old Tempest manages to escape the underground laboratory that had been her entire world. She became the most wanted person on the planet for a massacre she never intended. Unfortunately, she isn't the only one who changed.    Across the nation, teenagers had begun awakening unimaginable attributes.    A bullied boy wakes up beside bodies destroyed by poison.    A lonely student finds reality bending to his will.    A girl watched her best friend vanish into a tear in space itself.    As their powers evolve, strange creatures emerge, rifts and tears through the fabric of the world appear, and the laws of reality begin to change. Everyone believes that this was the beginning of humanity's evolution but they are wrong.    As seals older than the world itself begin to break and traces of forgotten worlds blend into their own, a group of teenagers must learn to trust one another because they are not just awakening powers, they just put the world on a ticking time clock for extinction.   Sometimes saving humanity isn't the hardest choice, It's deciding whether humanity deserves to survive long enough to find a new world.
