by The Walking Fish
Because humanity committed sin, God sent down the Great Flood. The waters washed away all the filth upon the earth. Texas is a lower-class boy living in a water world. The city he calls home is named Ukaso. There, he will witness suffering, then find the truth of freedom, and finally be reborn like Jesus. This story is a slow burn with depth. It weaves together ancient alchemy and occult knowledge, along with fairy tales and fables—such as the Emerald Tablet's "As above, so below." (These elements appear in the mid and late story.) Why I wrote this novel: I come from the East. First, let me be clear: I do not follow any religion myself, but I love reading myths from different cultures. I noticed that most myths share a common opening—a Great Flood. One day, I fell asleep while reading the Bible. In my dream, I saw a book illustrated with the dark silhouettes of eight angels. I touched the eighth angel—the one with two spinning wheels and four pairs of wings. He said, "I am the navel of God..." When I woke up, I had the idea to write this story. I feel I must tell people something. I want to speak of the sources of suffering and the rebirth of the soul. Overcoming the language barrier is especially difficult, isn't it? The entire book is written by my own hand, with AI-assisted translation. If you're interested, please follow. Welcome to read my book.
