The System didn't scan Theo Reyes's soul, his potential, or his hidden destiny. It scanned his work history. Everyone else in the city got Classes built for a warzone: [Blade Saint], [Pyromancer], [Iron Vanguard]. Theo got [Courier] — Common rarity, zero combat stats, and a starting ability that lets him carry slightly more takeout than physically possible. The monsters don't take him seriously. The other Classed survivors don't take him seriously. Even the System's own flavor text sounds like it's laughing at him. That's fine. Nobody ever suspects the delivery guy. They're too busy fighting over territory to notice he's mapping every inch of it. Too busy leveling combat stats to notice what happens when a Class built entirely around getting things from point A to point B stops being limited to burritos. Rush hour is coming. And for the first time in his life, Theo's early.
