In 2026, a military transport carrying three soldiers — Captain Marcus Reyes, medic Leo Marchetti, and engineer Derek Okafor — crashes on a jungle island that appears on no chart. They are "rescued" by a gentle old hermit who tends their wounds, feeds them, and warns them, cryptically, that the sea will swallow their names. When their repaired aircraft crashes a second time on the very same shore, Marcus begins to suspect the truth: they are trapped in a time loop, and the island itself is alive — hungry, ancient, and patient.
