Meet Me Where You Loved Me: The Chronicles of Oren Breidavik

An Immortal Architect Drawn to Dying Hearts Discovers That Even a Timeless Traveler Needs Someone to Meet Him Where He Loves. Meet Me Where You Loved Me tells the story of Oren Breidavik—an architect whose buildings rise from the earth as if they were always meant to be there. But his true work has nothing to do with blueprints. Oren is a timeless traveler, drawn across decades and continents to souls preparing to let go. He arrives not to save them, but to answer the question every dying heart carries: Was I loved here? Did this matter? Will anyone remember? Through six interwoven stories, Oren meets a forensic pathologist who has never been anyone’s first choice, a fiercely brilliant historian who argues her way into love, a WWII resistance doctor he married in secret and lost to a concentration camp, a powerful attorney whose body is betraying her, a domestic violence survivor who has never known safety, and a woman in a café whose warm voice and startling green eyes make him want to live again. Each woman transforms him. Each goodbye carves him deeper. But when Oren loses the one person who was his sanctuary—the woman who met him where he loved—the timeless traveler must face the one question he has spent centuries answering for others: Is it enough? Was I loved? Lyrical, devastating, and ultimately radiant, Meet Me Where You Loved Me is a meditation on what love leaves behind—and what happens when the witness is finally witnessed. For readers who believe that love is not a monument but an echo, patient as stone, waiting for someone to remember where it was left.
