For centuries, humanity lived without knowing anything beyond its own world. Until the Towers appeared. No one knows where they came from or who built them. There is only one thing they know for certain: those who manage to overcome their trials can obtain something that once seemed impossible. Power. Since then, countless people have entered the Towers in search of wealth, glory, or a chance to change their lives. Axel Hagen seeks none of those things. After losing his sister and his home, Axel has only one reason to enter. To change the world. And to become strong enough that he will never again have to stand by and watch someone die right in front of him. But the first time he walks through the doors of a Tower, he discovers that things won't be as simple as he imagined. The trials have only just begun. And the farther he goes, the more he will have to risk to obtain what he desires so desperately. Because inside the Tower, weakness comes at a price. And Axel has already paid dearly. ----------------- This novel was previously published on Scribble Hub by the user Kale03.
