Making a Killing: From Monsters to Merchandise

Making a Killing: From Monsters to Merchandise

by D.Fenwick

AdventureComedyCraftingDramaFantasy

Launching 1st October Wrong world. Wrong skillset. Right instincts. Daniel fell asleep in his car waiting out a fog that wouldn't lift. He woke up with a stiff neck and somewhere that runs on monsters and magic, with no idea how to get back to his wife and daughter. This isn't grimdark, and it isn't cosy either — not really. It's both, on purpose. A fight with real teeth and real consequences sits right next to a workshop going up, a found family arguing over dinner, a deal being talked down to the last copper. The violence is blunt and it's felt. The comfort is earned, not handed out for free. Daniel's actual superpower is that he thinks like an operations manager in a world nobody's ever run the numbers on. He doesn't grind levels — he builds supply chains, negotiates contracts, and turns a trade nobody bothered to optimise into something worth a fortune. He gets good at that. Quietly, he gets good at staying alive, too. Every deal and kill makes the world he's in more bearable. Getting home is a different problem entirely — and there's no contract for that one.
