The 6,000-Year-Old Freshman

Six thousand years ago, she survived the cataclysmic wars that drowned ancient civilizations in blood. Today, her greatest challenge is surviving eleventh grade without accidentally decapitating a mortal. Evangeline is the first of her kind—the primordial Progenitor of Witches and Vampires, shaped at the dawn of creation. After millennia in self-imposed slumber, a classified mandate from the supernatural Council forces her into the mortal realm undercover. Her mission? Infiltrate Holy Oak High and locate an ancient relic hidden beneath the campus. Her cover? An awkward, sixteen-year-old transfer student who doesn't know how to silence a smartphone. Blending in should be easy for an immortal who once ruled armies, but her new life is an absolute circus: Her biological son is a flamboyant billionaire tycoon who insists on picking her up at the school gates in neon supercars, blowing her cover daily. Her immortal daughter is a world-class biotech researcher treating vampire biology like a STEM project. And the golden-boy Student Council President? He is Alexander—the mortal reincarnation of her fallen warrior husband. He has zero memory of their six-thousand-year love story, but he can’t seem to keep his eyes off the strange, quiet new girl. When petty school bullies mistake her ancient restraint for weakness, Evangeline is forced to teach them that some monsters don't hide in closets. But far deadlier predators lurk in the shadows of Holy Oak. Someone is orchestrating bloody rituals across the city, an ancient cult is hunting for primordial blood, and the fragile peace between the Five Races is about to shatter. The Progenitor is wide awake. And school is officially in session.
