The Wood Chronicles

Sheriff Buchanon Wood is the only Law in beautiful Paradise Valley, Kansas, and as such he tries daily to be fair, but firm. However, his sense of duty is tested against his desire for revenge when he chases three men into the foot-hills. As the sounds of gun fire fades, he finds himself, no longer in the foot-hills of Kansas, but in the heart of a great emerald forest. Looking down at him, an elven woman, bow in hand.
