I am shadow-dropping this LitRPG portal fantasy — no cover, no buffer — because of the launch trailer for GPT-6 Astra. If I wait any longer to release it, I fear it will no longer be a fantasy but a description of the world we actually live in. A world that can generate an interactive experience of whatever you can imagine, in real time. Set in 2035. Jack Stottle finds the fantasy novel he wrote at twenty-one and uploads it to Dark Spade. He finds himself, along with his AI companion Orb, in a familiar world, playing out a familiar drama. Yet he is not himself, but rather the Chronicler. He starts at Level 1—and soon finds that killing a raven gives 5 EXP and making an old crone smile gives 5000.
