Humanity was born from a flawed design—an amalgamation of flesh and skin prone to the Cardinal Sins. From these imperfections, dangerous consequences built up over time, including the Abyssals: entities capable of consuming entire civilizations with only half of their full potential. For a long time, the god Mushikami overlooked this as nothing but a trifle. But when his cosmic sight witnesses the unforgivable violence of mortal war, he decides to act.By condensing raw, dark cosmic energy and twisting it with a fraction of a goddess's absolute power, Mushikami creates a new life form: Seiu Tōsei. With pure white hair, flawless features, and a crimson gem glowing like a bleeding heart in his chest, Seiu is intended to be the perfect human.Years later, a starving mortal boy named Yuka collapses face-first into the dirt, only to be violently shaken conscious by a wave of immense, suffocating pressure. Standing before him is Seiu. His presence makes the world cower, yet his mind is confused and his memory is fractured.
