Stark-naked, legally blind, and stranded in the dirt.
That’s how Steven "Steve" Archer, a mid-40s Australian box-store worker, starts his new life in a brutal fantasy world. Thanks to a glitched System auto-assigning his class based on his surname, Steve is hard-locked into the Ranger class—a cruel joke given his sore joints, atrocious distance vision, and zero bow skills.
To make matters worse, the System skipped his Tutorial entirely, dumping him in the wild six months before the other summoned "Contenders" arrive. With no clothes, no gear, and environmental mana triggering a generational "Monster Surge," Steve must survive hyper-violent wildlife—like basketball-sized, QUILL-SHOOTING HOMICIDAL HEDGEHOGS—using nothing but improvised foliage and pure Aussie cynicism.
His desperate survival attempt collides with Aurelia "Rae" Faeweaver, a traumatized 250-year-old Elf Druid fleeing the bloodthirsty Hobgoblin Warchief Gor-Khar the Flesh-Eater. Rae expected a legendary warrior from the ancient prophecies. Instead, she gets a grumpy, naked middle-aged bloke who complains about the lack of beer and refuses to call her anything longer than "Rae."
With a brutal horde closing in, Steve has to notch a bow without stabbing his own thumb and survive an impending apocalypse—starting with finding a bloody pair of pants.
