Amara Solis specializes in the art of dead languages. How certain things may no longer exist simply because the words that describe them have been forgotten. When the renowned Dr. Lira Voss summons her to the vast expanse of Serekhan Wastes, Amara steps into a mystery that defies history. Beneath the sands lies a massive, ancient structure that should not exist: a stone edifice that appears to breathe. Surrounded by a team of experts, Amara realizes she is the key to unlocking the site. As she feels the vibration of the earth syncing with her heartbeat, Amara realizes that she is not just observing a historical find, but interacting with a consciousness that has been waiting for someone who understands the language of the forgotten.
