Synopsis:William is six-foot-two and barely a hundred and thirty pounds. Everyone on campus calls him "The Stick," and for good reason—he looks like a stiff breeze could snap him in half. His daily routine is pretty simple: get tripped by the campus bully in the cafeteria, avoid eye contact with Evelyn (the prettiest girl in his year), and spend his weekends playing co-op survival games with his only friend, Alfred, just to forget reality exists. Then his dad brings home dinner from the night shift at Cluck & Co. Foods. It turns out the industrial poultry factory is hiding some seriously illegal bio-engineering labs. After eating a piece of an unlabelled prototype chicken breast, William wakes up at 3:00 AM drenched in sweat, with glowing neon-green feathers bursting out of his arms and his body literally hovering six inches above his bathroom floor.Suddenly, he isn't the Stick anymore. His biology has been completely rewritten by radioactive avian DNA.Now, William has to figure out how to control these absurd, chaotic bird powers before he goes completely insane. Between dodging corporate suits who want their bio-weapon back, dealing with a campus bully who still thinks he’s a pushover, and trying to act normal around Evelyn, William’s life is about to get incredibly loud, fast, and messy. He's officially out of the coop.
