ourteen hundred years ago.The Eurasian continent was an international society centered on the Silk Road.A corporate alliance known as "Bazaar" ruled the entire expanse of the Silk Road.People flocked to this Silk Road not only from Eurasia but also from the Americas, amassing personal wealth.Bazaar dominated the economy of this international society; every nation sought to stay in Bazaar's good graces and submitted to its will.Bazaar maintained a private army fueled by its immense capital, for anyone who defied the alliance would be annihilated by that military might. Then, a rumor began to circulate among the Bazaar merchants:"Arms dealers are heading for the 'Galapagos of the Far East.' They are searching for something."The "Galapagos of the Far East" referred to the Japanese archipelago. Moreover, these arms dealers were so desperate to secure rights there that they were willing to engage in private warfare against one another.Locally, the region was known simply as "Galapagos." The arms dealers were seeking "Amakuni"—an object said to be the "key that unlocks the gates of heaven."Both Bazaar and anti-Bazaar factions began to take an interest in "Amakuni."The struggle for new hegemony over the Silk Road now hinged on this "Amakuni."
