Now, aboard the Tidebearer, another piece of that forgotten past has returned. Elias—the son of the man Elara once called father. He arrived believing the Tide Fleet murdered Tink. But after Rafe saves his life, Little Tink refuses to leave his side, and Shadow reveals an unsettling interest in the strange metal object Elias inherited from his father, everything Elias thought he knew begins to fracture. To defeat Shadow, Elara must uncover what the Builders buried. To understand Elias, she may have to uncover what Tink buried. And to discover why the Tide chose her... Elara must finally remember the child she was before the sea carried her away. Some histories were forgotten. Some were erased. And some were hidden because the truth was more dangerous than the lie.
