The Reunification Saga

It is the year 2607, earth fell 342 years ago. Now out of its ashes rise new nations, survivors of nuclear winter, they are the inheritors of earth, the protectorate, the PACU, South African commonwealth and Australasian Union are just the largest players left on earth. For humanity had expanded into space. Luna, the pearl above earth once home to the second largest concentration of humans in the solar system, is now a husk of its former glory. Mars divided between North and south, where the equator is home to small remnants of unaligned people who value their freedom, hounded by the neo catholic crusader army, has now risen to be an independent player in the solar system. Venus, the second earth as people once dreamed of calling it now, only houses the floating cities meant to house the generations awaiting a now defunct terraforming project. The belt, home to station upon station, colonized for its abundant cheap resources now divided among many factions, from the new Islamist Jihad, to the new orthodox empire.  Beyond the belt lies Jupiter and famous Ganymed, humanitys furthest home as far as anyone knows. Calling itself the Ganymed sector, the moon rules over a rebellious Europa, which strives for independence, while Kalisto increasingly becomes a den of corruption even though it houses all Ganymed has left of earths nature, all while the Io nomads again march on one another.And then there is pinnacle station, humanitys last great project, half finished it is still the largest space station in the solar system, placed between earth and Venus, it houses the largest spacer population found anywhere and its survival is seen by its citizens as a shining beacon of humanitys hope, for if Pinnacle stands humanitys dream is not yet lost. This is a Scy fi universe I am working on. I have lots of ideas to share from this universe, but due to time constraints I won't be writing a full book for it yet. It may follow further down the line but until then think fo it as a row of anthological short stories, with the odd one out maybe being a few chapters rather than a single one.
